Interior Color Trends for 2022 You Going To See Everywhere

The future of interior design is bright. At Home Decor EZ, we have compiled a list of the main trends we will see this year.

Rich brown

Beautiful intense browns are ubiquitous in furniture and decoration. Most of my team are actually designing their homes, and this type of brown is an important factor for them.

Green sea

With a soft, subdued color, Seafoam Green, like Benjamin Moore Hollingsworth Green, greets the moment. Brings fluffy heat and humidity to the living space, reminiscent of the days of the sea.

Notes From Nature

After all of the craziness that we have experienced in 2020, I believe people gravitate towards warm, rich colors that convey a sense of coziness, comfort, and safety. Think rich chocolate brown, moss green, and deep blues.

Here, designer Andrew Howard helps bring the outdoors into this spacious laundry room, thanks to mossy greens, floral wallpaper, and plenty of fresh blooms. Find out designers’ top picks for calming paint colors to create a cozier, more comforting space.

Blush

Millennials may mention color, but for this designer, blush shades are now considered neutral. Previously reserved for white paint only, I would like to see more of this in 2021.

Neutral

This year was a very turbulent year. That’s why people are looking for quiet basic colors such as olive green, burgundy, and cloudy colors. Farrow & Ball works well and provides neutral colors. If you use white, we recommend Benjamin Moore’s Simply White. It has a slightly warmer, yellow / pink color rather than a blue undertone. Also, I think the accent wall has disappeared, leaving the entire space of the same color. I prefer the monochrome approach and paint the entire room in the same color, including the finish and ceiling.

White chalk

Chalk white paint will be a big trend in 2022. Instead of pure white, consider a warm shade of white with many matte finishes and even textured finishes like Roman clay and lime wash. It’s all about creating a soft, historic and cozy atmosphere on the white walls.

Dark shades

By 2021, more people will adopt darker and deeper shades. It is often thought that the darker the color of the paint, the darker or smaller the room, but in most cases it has the exact opposite effect. Cavernous in Dunn Edwards is currently one of my favorites. The contrast is striking in bright white, but it also has this ability to perfectly match the warm neutrals we are using more and more these days.

Earth color

As we all spend more time at home and make changes to suit our needs, paint colors play an important role in creating positive feelings and comfort in every space. In 2021, warm and cozy earth tones will continue to flourish, and do-it-yourselfers will try to dress up the comfort zone in attractive, natural colours. Examples include the new BEHR Color Trends 2021 palette Rejuvenating Green Jojoba (N390-3), Adaptive Smoky White (BWC-13), and Energizing Saffron Strands PPU6-02.

Deep tones are neutralized

Now let’s take a look at many popsicles on the ground. Think of camels instead of gray, and think of highly neutralized colors such as olive green and burnt orange.
